DONALD E. McDONALD, beloved husband for 64 years of the late Grace (nee McMullen), dear father of Molly Dobrowski (John), Michael (Mary Beth), Jane Bissett (George) and Chip (Mary), devoted grandfather of Michael, Kathryn Sykes (Rob), Matthew (Helen), Caroline, Mary, Michael (Beth), Kevin, Kaitlin, Brendan (Rachael) and Connor; great-grandfather of 5, dear brother of the late Jack and Bill McDonald. Don was a long-standing parishioner at Gesu Church, graduated class of 1944 from John Carroll and received several awards, including the JCU Alumni Award in 2000 for his work developing the Private Sector. He was a founding member of the AICC in the corrugated packaging industry. A Veteran, he served our country during World War II in the Army Air Corps. Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. Saturday at Church of The Gesu, 2470 Miramar Blvd., University Hts., OH 44118 WHERE FRIENDS MAY CALL FROM 10 - 11 A.M SATURDAY. Interment at Lake View Cemetery will follow Mass. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Don's name suggested to Gesu Church or Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, OH 44110.
