Georgianna Adamson

February 26, 1936 — February 20, 2019

Georgianna "Georgie" Adamson (nee Jensen) of Euclid OH passed away on Wednesday February 20, 2019 at the age of 82. Georgie spent her career teaching, with beginnings in Garfield Heights and spending most of her years in the Cleveland Height/University Heights school district where she helped raise her family. Georgie had a passion for giving voice to the disenfranchised through activism and deeds. She had a love for life and always sought diversity of experiences and people. When she wasn't laughing in her home with family, friends and the always present invited guests she was traveling with her husband Don and one of her beloved dogs to new adventures in nature and new volunteer opportunities.

Beloved wife of Don Adamson; devoted mother of Jack (Nancy, nee Barensfeld) and David (Lisa, nee Passov); cherished grandmother of Bri, Nick, Sara, Noah, Emily, Jack Jr.; aunt, cousin and dear friend to many others.

The family would like to thank Hospice of the Western Reserve for their help in Georgie's care.
