James Smith

Jim was husband and partner of Patti (nee Stacho) for 39 years. Beloved father of Carlyn (Peter Schupska), Rebecca (Katie Colbaugh), Laura Segovia (Jesús), and Sheila.Dearest brother of William (Mardell) and preceded in death by siblings Robert (Margaret), Maxine Nero, Patricia Briggs, and Trudy. Brother-in-law of Bill Stacho (Sue), Connie Meyer(Ken), and Tom Stacho (Helene). Uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Jim was a former member of The Society of the Precious Blood. He was an educator, lover of math and coffee,and active community member. His true passion was his family.

Family and Friends are invited to gather for Mass of Christian Burial 11 am Friday, Jan. 19 at Saint Augustine Church, 2486 West 14th Street, Cleveland, OH 44113. FRIENDS MAY CALL AT THE MAHER MELBOURNE FUNERAL HOME, 5236 MAYFIELD ROAD, LYNDHURST (EAST OF RICHMOND RD.) 3:30-7 pm THURSDAY, JAN. 18.
