Jennie Bee Tatum passed away quietly in the early morning hours of May
7th, 2021. Her 105 years were spent raising a daughter and son, cherishing
her grandchildren, enjoying time with family and friends, and living a
Christian life.
Jennie was born in Macedonia, Union County, Arkansas and moved to
Cleveland in the 1940s. She worked for many years as a Nurse's Aide and
retired from Fairview General Hospital in 1985.
Her pleasant smile and wisdom will be missed by her far-reaching family,
including her son Arllie Joe Jones, sister Patsy Jean Coggins, nieces
Katherine White, Gloria Tatum, Paula Coggins-Griffen, nephews James
Howard Tatum, Jeff Tatum, Carl Lee "Butch" Parker, and Andrew
"Skipper" Coggins, Jr., and a host of great nieces and nephews. Jennie also
leaves behind seven grandchildren and many great and great-great
grandchildren. Jennie's treasured daughter Geralyne Coggins-Dent
preceded her to the heavenly kingdom in 1995.
The Tatum family visitation is from 5-7pm on Thursday, May 13th, 2021 at
Maher-Melbourne Funeral Home, 5236 Mayfield Road, Lyndhurst OH

Peace Missionary Baptist Church, located at 3435 Fairmount Blvd,
