Peggy A. Schroeder

September 1, 1933-April 13, 2025

Peggy Schroeder, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-grandmother, Independent Woman, and Friend entered eternal peace on Palm Sunday, April 13, 2025 at age 91. She loved her family and often talked about how blessed she felt to have her two daughters Catherine Metelko (Dave), and Leslie, two wonderful grandchildren, Jack Jones, and Allison Atteberry (Cale), and to have been able to hold her first great-grandchild, Jones Jean Atteberry. Peggy’s loving husband, Henry Joseph “Hank” predeceased her by 41 years. She was also predeceased by her long-time companion, Louis Ruppe. Peggy was devoted to the Catholic Church and found great peace in her faith. 

As a graduate of Beaumont School for Girls and Ursuline College, Peggy greatly valued Catholic education. She cherished the life-long friendships she made there. In addition to being a wife and mother, Peggy was a Job Coach through Mayfield Schools working with developmentally disabled adults. 

FAMILY AND FRIENDS ARE INVITED TO GATHER FOR A MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL 10:00 AM TUESDAY, APRIL 22, 2025 AT ST. FRANCIS OF ASSISI CHURCH, 6850 MAYFIELD ROAD, GATES MILLS, OH 44040 FOLLOWED BY INTERMENT AT ALL SOULS CEMETERY.
