Robert F. Miller

ROBERT F. MILLER, aged 90 years 9 months on January 15, 2026.

Beloved husband of Sarah Stevens Miller for 69 years; devoted father of Marian Miller Chatterjee, Paul F. Miller and the late Stephen D. Miller; and proud grandfather of Sraboni L. Chatterjee, Brendan O. Miller, Ryan F. Miller and Dakota R. Miller; and amazed great-grandfather of Miko Chance. Son of the late Robert and Marie Miller and brother of the late Emily Miller Dreher.

His corporate career included serving as chief marketing officer at Cleveland Trust/Ameritrust and Farm Credit Corporation of America in Denver, CO. He was also executive director of The Generation Foundation, making grants to support the formation of technology-based economic development initiatives in Northeast Ohio. In his semi-retirement years he maintained a consultancy for charitable foundations and nonprofit organizations. With a strong interest in public benefit organizations, he was formerly chairman of the Cleveland Institute of Music and a board member of many foundations and nonprofits in Cleveland. A member of the American Guild of Organists-Cleveland, he was also a longtime church organist. He was a graduate of Principia College and had been an infantry captain in the U. S. Marine Corps.

A memorial service will be held by the immediate family. Those who wish may send a memorial contribution to the Cleveland Institute of Music.
