THEODORE "TED" LIEDERBACH passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2019. Born May 10, 1932 in Cleveland, to the late Theodore and Anne (Pejsa) Liederbach.
Ted graduated from Cathedral Latin School and worked as a computer programmer until his retirement. Ted loved chess, reading, learning and debate. He was an intelligent, quiet man who loved his family, and never missed an opportunity to tell someone about his 'famous' unassisted triple-play.
Ted is survived by his children Eric (Beth), Kirk (Judy), Christopher, John (Allyson), and Moira (Jay); loving grandfather of Megan (Kenan), Emily (Jon), Sair (Joseph), Stephen, Joseph, Gregor, Benjamin; Step-grandfather to Gianna and Jaydan. Great-grandfather to Emiliana and Doone. Ted is also survived by his twin brother Tom Liederbach.
Ted was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years and best friend for even longer Eileen (Butler) Liederbach; as well as sisters, Sister Mary Lynn, SND and Jean (Liederbach) Goebel.
Inurnment Lake View Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends are invited to meet for Prayers of Christian Burial 11 am Monday at Wade Chapel inside Lake View Cemetery, with inurnment and reception immediately following.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial gifts to Salvation Army of Greater Cleveland, 2507 E. 22nd. St., Cleveland, OH 44115.
